Gary Ball
Director of Security, Intelligence, Inv&R
Gary has been working within ArcelorMittal Ukraine since April 2022, he was appointed Chief Security Officer in September of that year.
Prior to that he was working the UK government as a director involved with COVID management and the evacuation of personnel from Afghanistan.
Gary, as head of Security and Risk, has established from a “green field” position, two Enterprise Risk and Business Resilience organizations: Firstly, GE Middle East, Levant and Africa from the start of the Al Qaeda Uprising in 2023, until moving to PwC Middle East and North Africa, from the start of the Arab Spring in 2010 until 2021.
Prior to this Gary worked across the globe for the British Government for many years, in High and Extreme Risk locations as part of, or commanding several departments in various roles.
Gary’s qualifications include GE Senior Managers Course, Business Research and Change Management Brighton University, Strategic Crisis Management: UK Cabinet Office, Hostage Negotiator and Crisis Management: UK Metropolitan Police, ISMA Leadership: Georgetown University.
