Steelmaking is linked with significant industrial impact on the environment. The major targets of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih in terms of environment are environmental actions implementation and environmental safety.
For this purpose, we are improving our environment management system and renovate environmental facilities.
ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih was one of the first Ukrainian metallurgical companies to implement environment management system for efficient management of environmental issues. The company confirms environment management system conformity to the requirements of international standard ISO 14001:2015 on an annual basis that demonstrates its high reliability and performance.
The company has approved Environmental Policy wherein it listed the fundamental principles of our attitude toward environment protection.
All operational activities of the company are carried out in line with the Permits meeting the requirements of international standard and Environmental legislation of Ukraine.
