Maksym Perekitsai
Chief Occupational Health and Safety Officer
Maksym Perekitsai was appointed Chief Occupational Health and Safety Officer of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih effective May 1, 2026.
In this position, Mr. Perekitsai will be responsible for the development and transformation of the occupational health and safety system, implementation of modern risk management standards, enhancement of the safety culture, and ensuring compliance of production processes with international and corporate H&S requirements.
Prior to this appointment, Maksym Perekitsai headed the management and implementation of CAPEX investment projects. Earlier, he worked in position of General Director of the subsidiary PE Steel Service, where he managed a workforce of more than 2,200 employees. He also held a position of Deputy Head of the Technical Department, where he was responsible for technological support of steelmaking and rolling production operations.
Mr. Perekitsai has more than 19 years of experience in the metallurgical industry, including production process management, implementation of investment projects, and production efficiency improvement initiatives. His professional background includes the execution of large-scale technical transformation projects and the achievement of significant economic results.
Maksym Perekitsai graduated from Kryvyi Rih Technical University with a degree in Metal Forming and from National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine with a degree in Heat Treatment of Metals, obtaining the qualification of engineer.
