
Investments and Projects
According to the company`s collective agreement, funds in the amount of 0.6% of the amount of products sold over the past year are allocated for Health and Safety, prevention of occupational injuries and occupational disease.
In 2024, PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, the largest mining and metallurgical company in Ukraine, invested UAH 252.29 million in Health and Safety, and industrial safety actions (in 2023 – UAH 289.01 million, in 2022 – UAH 517.97 million).
Expenses per employee amounted to more than UAH 19.09 thousand.
Main expenses of PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih for the implementation of the key Health and Safety actions amounted to:
- UAH 97.51 million – for providing employees of the company with overalls and safety footwear, personal protective equipment (PPE);
- UAH 23.51 million – for ensuring drinking regime (provision of bottled potable water and fortified drinks to the company`s shops for free);
- UAH 4.9 thousand – for providing employees with tea and sugar during low air temperatures;
- UAH 11.78 million – for providing employees engaged in work under especially harmful working conditions with special meals and milk for free;
- UAH 4.22 million – for suppling employees with detergents, which neutralized the effects of harmful substances on the body and skin;
- UAH 515.4 thousand – for conducting mandatory preliminary, periodic and unplanned medical checkups of employees.
In 2024, PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih invested more than UAH 25.85 million in the implementation of technical actions aimed at the improving working conditions, preventing occupational injuries and occupational disease.
