Olha Semkiv

Director of Sustainable Development Department

Olha Semkiv is appointed Director of Sustainable Development Department of PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih effective 11 November 2024.

Olha Semkiv will report to Chief Executive Officer Mauro Longobardo and will be responsible for the company’s compliance with European sustainability requirements and coordination of the company’s environmental activities.

Olha Semkiv has almost twenty years of experience in environmental protection and has been actively involved in environmental issues at the national and international levels. Throughout her career, she has held senior positions in the environmental departments of large industrial companies, including PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, where she was responsible for environmental standards implementation and environmental impact monitoring. In addition, Olha has been actively involved in international technical assistance projects supported by the European Union and the United Nations Development Programme to promote the implementation of environmental reforms in Ukraine.

In 2006, she graduated from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy with a master’s degree in Ecology and Environmental Protection.
