The company's key actions and behaviors in relation to human rights are set out in the corporate Human Rights Policy. We create a work environment that respects human rights and do not allow ourselves to be involved in activities that violate these rights directly or indirectly. ArcelorMittal's Human Rights Policy contains a number of specific provisions to support the principles of occupational health and safety, rational land and water use, and professional activities without the use of forced and child labor, with the exclusion of any kind of discrimination, harassment and violence in the workplace. Moreover, the Policy includes provisions on freedom for employees to unite in trade unions, respect for the interests of local communities, provisions on working conditions, ensuring competitive wages for its employees, and measures to ensure safety.
Anti-corruption regulation
ArcelorMittal has adopted the Anti-Corruption Regulation, which defines the procedure to address corruption-related issues and is aimed at complying with anti-corruption legislation in the company's operations. Prior to entering into business relations, all ArcelorMittal divisions conduct due diligence of their potential partners to assess corruption risks.
