PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih aims to create transparent relations between the owner of the plant and Primary Union Organizations.

Trade Unions of PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih:

  • Primary Organization of Trade Union of the workers of metallurgical and mining industry of Ukraine of PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih;
  • Primary Trade Union Organization of Independent Miners’ Trade Union of PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih;
  • Primary Trade Union Organization of All- Ukrainian Trade Union of Science, Production and Finance Employees;
  • Independent Primary Trade Union Organization;
  • Primary Trade Union Organization of Regional Trade Union of Young Workers;
  • Primary Trade Union Organization of Kryvyi Rih City Trade Union of Production Employees;
  • Primary Trade Union Organization of All-Ukrainian Trade Union “Svoboda Pratsi”;
  • Primary Trade Union of Production and Transport “Shchyt”;
  • Primary Trade Union Organization of Independent Workers’ Trade Union;
  • Primary Trade Union Organization of Kryvyi Rih Independent Trade Union;
  • Primary Trade Union Organization “Terytoriia Zakhystu”.

All the six Primary Union Organizations have equal rights to be representatives of the Trade Union members working at the plant and to protect their rights and interests.


Trade union organizations of the plant can participate in processes related to changes of forms of ownership at all stages, to control adherence to interests and rights of trade union members. Any significant changes at the plant such as its reorganization, partial shutdown of production followed by staff redundancy, worsening of working conditions can be implemented only after the respective information is provided to trade unions on timely basis. In compliance with the legislation of Ukraine, the management of the plant consults with the trade unions on actions for prevention and mitigation of negative consequences of staff redundancy at the latest of three months since such decisions has been taken.

Representatives of the elective bodies of the Primary Union Organizations of the plant are also entitled to check without restriction the conditions and safety at the workplaces, fulfillment of relevant programs and obligations of Collective Bargaining Agreement.

4 joint commissions have been created to permanently function in the plant:

  • Conciliation Commission;
  • Health and Safety and Fire Protection Commission (Global Committee on Health and Safety and Industrial Safety);
  • Labour Disputes Commission;
  • Employees and Retirees Material Aid Commission.
