Day 20 years of “ArcelorMittal” in Ukraine!

I know these continue to be very tough times for everyone living in Ukraine. We had all hoped that the war would be over by now and that peace would have returned to the country.

I pray that time will come soon. In the meantime, the courage and fortitude you show every day is remarkable. 

It is twenty years since you became part of ArcelorMittal.  I wanted to mark the occasion and to thank you for your loyalty and dedication to ArcelorMittal Kryvih Rih. Especially in these last three years. Everyone at ArcelorMittal is so proud of you.  I am proud of you. We really admire your strength and compassion.

It was only right that the sacrifices you have made were recognized by the industry recently when you received the Worldsteel Excellence in People award.

I know how hard you have worked to keep the mines and plant operating. Even more commendable is the support you provide to each other and to the families of those who have lost loved ones.

You are an inspiration to us all and it is important you know this.

Thank you sincerely for everything you have contributed. And happy anniversary.
