During 2025, PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih continued to implement social and charitable initiatives aimed at supporting local communities, veterans, families of deceased employees and victims of the war.

A significant part of the assistance during the war was direct payments and support for employees and their families:

UAH 25.0 million was allocated to the families of deceased employees,

•  Another UAH 5.9 million to assist employees who were injured as a result of enemy shelling.

The amount of funds allocated by the company to charitable projects amounted to more than UAH 9.2 million.

Among the key social and charitable projects of 2025 are the renovation of the urology department of the First City Hospital, assistance in the development of border infrastructure, as well as support for the Kryvyi Rih City Museum of Local Lore in the creation of the Memorial Bell Tower dedicated to the fallen defenders of Ukraine.

The enterprise continues to support initiatives that are important for the development of the city, its defense capabilities and the preservation of the memory of the events of the war.

A separate and priority area of social work of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih remains the support of veterans and military personnel, as well as their families.

In 2025, the Coordination Center continued its work, providing information and consulting support to demobilized employees. During the year, 97 individual interviews with veterans were conducted.

For prompt information and communication with veterans, the telegram channel “Veteran AMKR” operates, to which 254 participants joined.

The enterprise has retained the additional medical insurance program, which includes sanatorium and resort treatment, dental services and psychological support. In 2025, 71 veterans underwent treatment and rehabilitation, of which 19 were sanatorium and resort treatment. 69 people received dental care (emergency, scheduled, prosthetics and implantation). Free physiotherapy procedures for military personnel and demobilized employees also continued.

As part of supporting veterans’ families, the enterprise organized children’s holidays, festive events and thank-you concerts, and also retained the priority right of veterans and their family members to rest at the enterprise’s suburban base. In addition, in 2026, the company will continue to provide social benefits in the form of a 10% discount on meals in the company's canteens.

An important area of work remains the adaptation and creation of jobs for veterans. In 2025, 5 jobs were created taking into account the individual needs of veterans, and 1 job was adapted for an employee with a disability of group II.

The company continues to implement inclusive practices, including ensuring the accessibility of jobs, flexible working conditions for employees undergoing treatment or rehabilitation, as well as training managers and teams in working with veterans and people with disabilities.

ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih also cooperates with the employment center to receive compensation for arranging jobs for people with disabilities. In 2025, the company received compensation for the actual costs of arranging a job for an employee-veteran with a disability of group II. In addition, cooperation with the municipal non-profit enterprise “Service Office “Veteran” continues.

Support for communities, veterans, families of the deceased and socially vulnerable categories remains an important part of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih’s responsibility to the city and the country, especially in the context of the ongoing war.

CEO of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih Mauro Longobardo noted:

“Since the beginning of the war, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih has allocated about UAH 767 million to social and charitable initiatives. Supporting our people remains an absolute priority for us. In particular, during this period, UAH 119.40 million was allocated to the families of deceased employees, and the company allocated another UAH 11.39 million to help employees who suffered as a result of enemy shelling.

We work in extremely difficult conditions, but even while being lossmaking due to such adverse factors as highest cost of electricity in Europe and CBAM, we continue to fulfill our obligations to employees, communities and the state. By paying taxes, we support the country's defense capability. At the same time, we invest in programs for veterans, help the families of our colleagues and support local communities.

We remain in Ukraine and with Ukraine - and we do everything possible to stand today and join the reconstruction of the country after the Victory”.
