Happy Metallurgist and Miner’s Day!
Dear colleagues, metallurgists and miners!
I congratulate you on our professional holiday!
For the fourth year in a row, we celebrate this day in wartime. Every day tests our endurance, our loyalty to our chosen profession. We all live in difficult times - we get tired, sometimes we get disappointed. But we don`t stop. And we don`t stop believing in Victory and in a better future.
Metallurgy has always formed the foundation of the economy. It is very important for our city and for Ukraine that the enterprises of the mining and metallurgical industry work. Our metallurgists and miners prove every day that changes are doing everything possible for this. This is our contribution to victory and to the future.
Your contribution to the development of the industry is priceless. Metallurgy is not just the walls of workshops, not just high ceilings, pipes, towers. Metallurgy is not only modern units, huge cranes, blast furnaces that melt pig iron. Metallurgy is not only finished products, such as billets, wire rod, fittings, everything that we supply to our customers. All of this is, of course, very important. But most importantly, metallurgy is people. It is all of you – coke chemists, beneficiators, sinter workers, blast furnace workers, steelmakers, rolling mill workers, repairmen, power engineers. These are thousands of our people who keep this enterprise running. Not all of them wear overalls. The big part of them are now dressed in military uniforms. But they are also metallurgists – our steel defenders.
I am extremely grateful to the people who work heroically despite all the threats, who do not abandon the plant in these difficult times, who return to us after military service, who come to work for us. We will also always remember the metallurgists and miners, our colleagues who gave their lives for our protection so that we could work today and in the future.
The steel that we produce is a symbol – a symbol of Kryvyi Rih’s resilience and Ukrainian invincibility. And we are doing and will do everything to rebuild the country and restore peace and tranquility!
Happy holiday! Happy Metallurgist and Miner's Day!
