Our Company is among the leaders regarding the level of average monthly remuneration among companies in the mining and steelmaking industry in Ukraine.

At the same time, our approach to rewarding and motivating our staff goes beyond traditional bonuses and benefits. We strive to create a working atmosphere that gives our employees an incentive to grow and develop, expand their job responsibilities and areas of responsibility, and build a career both at the Company and internationally – across the ArcelorMittal Group.

ArcelorMittal operates in more than 60 countries around the world, which allows our employees to have access to the best global practices and experience of colleagues from other enterprises of the corporation, as well as to participate in corporate projects at the international level.

Our company operates as part of a successful and sustainable international company, which allows each employee to set ambitious goals and be confident in their abilities and the future.

Social support to employees

The company is doing everything possible to preserve jobs and provide social support to its employees. Blocking of the Black Sea ports by the aggressor and the overloading of railways led to the difficulties with export of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih’s products. Therefore, the company is forced to reduce the spending drastically across all divisions. Since July, the work schedule for the employees has been changed – the vast majority of the team, including the senior management and expat employees, work at a rate of 2/3 of the load. Mining department’s employees will also get 2/3 of their salaries, despite the temporary suspension of mining operations. In winter, the company’s employees received their salary for February in full. Also, they received early remuneration based on the results of the previous year - the so-called ‘13th salary’.

During March-June ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih paid in full all employees involved in operations or worked remotely, as well as all those serving in the Armed Forces or Territorial Defense. The company also guarantees the preservation of jobs for the employees who are mobilized to defend the country. There are above 2 500 such employees.
